In December 2018, Eat Bulaga! officially relocated to APT Studios, located in C-5, Quezon City. This studio has been the show’s home since then, but recent developments in TAPE Inc.‘s (Television and Production Exponents, Inc.) leadership have led to concerns about the intellectual property rights of the show. As a result, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (TVJ) decided to move to a new network, TV5, continuing their show with a new chapter.

😢 Emotional Reaction of the Hosts

In a special episode on February 12, 2025, Tito Sotto gave an emotional farewell to Eat Bulaga!. The segment “The Clones: Ka-Voice of the Stars” was dedicated to him, with co-hosts Joey de Leon and Jose Manalo performing musical tributes in his honor.

Tito Sotto himself performed the song “Through the Years” as a symbolic goodbye, joined on stage by his brother Vic Sotto and close friend Joey de Leon. After the performance, the whole Dabarkads family, including Ryan Agoncillo, Maine Mendoza, Carren Eistrup, Miles Ocampo, Paolo Ballesteros, Allan K, Wally Bayola, and Jose Manalo, gathered on stage for an emotional send-off.

Tash, who had been a key part of the show, was seen crying, visibly moved by the transition. As fans flooded social media with messages of love and support for the iconic trio of TVJ, Tito Sotto promised that his departure was only temporary.

“I’ll be back with TVJ’s noontime show after the election,” Tito Sotto assured fans.
