Manila, Philippines – In a heartwarming turn of events that many thought might never come, actress Lotlot de Leon has finally met her biological father — a moment she describes as deeply emotional, healing, and one of the most important in her life.
The revelation comes after decades of questions and quiet searching. Lotlot, who was adopted at a young age by legendary Filipino actors Nora Aunor and Christopher de Leon, has lived much of her life in the spotlight. But behind the glitz of showbiz, there remained a quiet mystery — the identity and presence of her biological father.
Now, that mystery has found its long-awaited answer.
A Reunion Years in the Making
Lotlot shared the news in an emotional interview, revealing that the meeting took place recently and was filled with tears, stories, and long-overdue embraces.
“All my life, I wondered who he was. I wondered what he looked like, what kind of man he was, and if I ever inherited anything from him,” Lotlot said. “Meeting him… it gave me a piece of myself I didn’t know was missing.”

“I didn’t rush it. I waited for the right time — a time when I felt strong enough to face the answers,” she said.

“I saw myself in him,” she admitted. “There were little things — the way he speaks, the way he moves — that felt so familiar, even though we were strangers until that day.”

While the reunion was life-changing, Lotlot was quick to express her deep and unwavering gratitude to her adoptive parents, Nora Aunor and Christopher de Leon.
“They are my parents. No matter what,” she stated firmly. “They raised me, loved me, guided me. I owe everything to them. Finding my biological father doesn’t change that — it just helps me understand where I came from.”
She also acknowledged that the experience helped her appreciate both sides of her life story: the one she lived and the one she was born into.

Nora Aunor and Christopher De Leon’s adopted daughter, Lotlot De Leon, happily shared that she has finally met her biological father in Olongapo, where she was born.
Lotlot had always known that he was adopted by Nora Aunor and Boyet De Leon.
“Didn’t know what it meant before until my mom sat with me one day and explained. She said the difference between me and Ian was that my brother came from her stomach, I was a gift from above. (Mom pointing at mama Mary the statue.),” Lotlot shared.
“Cried for hours after that. Not because I didn’t know who my real parents were but because I wanted to be like Ian too, who also came from his stomach because I love my mom so much I want me and my dad to be their real son too.”
Sa kabila ng kaalamang ito ay hindi siya nagtanim ng masamang loob sa kanyang mga totoong magulang at ipinagdasal pa na makilala ang mga ito balang araw.
Matapos ang ilang taon, nagpunta si Lotlot sa Municipal Hall ng Olongapo upang magtanong-tanong kung may nakaalala pa ba sa kanyang mga magulang.
“Since sa olongapo nga ako pinanganak. Sabe ko suntok sa buwan I’ll ask kung may alam sila sa totoong tatay ko. I was able to speak to someone who accommodated me and since alam ko na name ng father ko I gave the details of the information I had.”
Matapos ang ilang araw ay nakatanggap umano siya ng buong pangalan ng pinaghihinalaang ama niya.
Sinubukan umano niyang mag-email rito upang magtanong kung ito ba ang kanyang ama.
“I wrote.. ‘Hi Mr. Olson, my name is Lot de Leon, my biological moms name is Eva Rodriguez.. are you my father?’ Something like that, then he replied and said. ‘Yes, I know who you are.’ ‘I’ve always known about you I carried you in my arms when you were born.’ My jaw dropped & the rest is history,” pagbabahagi ng aktres.
