Kathryn Bernardo’s alleged first crush reveals single status, open to deepen connection with the actress

Kenneth Hizon, who has recently been making headlines for being tagged as Kathryn Bernardo’s alleged first crush, set the record straight: he is single and open build a deeper connection with the actress.

In an interview with News 5, Kenneth gave a straightforward answer when asked if he was willing to court Kathryn and deepen his connection with her.

“Of course, yes,” he boldly said.

Kenneth, who is a medical doctor in his hometown in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija, admitted that Kathryn was also his first crush.

The doctor said he has yet to reconnect with the actress, but he is looking forward to that moment.

“Wala pa, but I’m looking forward to meet her and maybe catch up a little,” he said.

Kenneth, who has now been getting media appearances, revealed that he has been “overwhelmed” by how the things have unfolded.

“Nakakatuwa kasi syempre pinagshi-ship nila kami tapos medyo syempre hindi natin alam ang mga pwedeng mangyari sa mga susunod. Medyo nakaka-overwhelm lang talaga,” he expressed.

In a separate interview with ABS-CBN News, the doctor recounted the moment he found out the revelation made by Kathryn, whom he confirmed as his former classmate.

“Siyempre nagulat ako. [Noong] una, hindi ko talaga alam, but since my friends were tagging me after that PGT clip ni Kathryn, nagulat na ako. So inisip ko, mag-reminisce ako, ako ba ‘yun? I’m not sure,” he recalled.

Kenneth also shared in the same interview his vivid recollection of the young Kathryn.

“Pag nakita mo kasi siya, makikita mo talaga na bright kid siya. Tapos masayahin siya, and siyempre maganda,” he said.

The doctor extended a message to the actress through the interview: “Hi Kathryn, I hope you are doing well. If your busy time would allow us, I hope we can catch up.”

 Kenneth Hizon was catapulted to center of social media attention after the April 6 episode of Pilipinas Got Talent, where the actress made the revelation.

 The PGT judge only gave the name “Kenneth,” prompting netizens to speculate and search for the possible identity of the lucky guy.

 Netizens eventually found Kenneth Hizon as old photos of him and Kathryn surfaced online.

 Kathryn ended her 11-year relationship with actor Daniel Padilla in November 2023 and has remained single since then.
