Working with Nora Aunor was one of the dreams that Sharon Cuneta won’t fulfill anymore

Megastar Sharon Cuneta regretted not having the chance to work with the Superstar Nora Aunor in a project.

Sharon has done remarkable projects throughout her career, and shared the same frame with prominent names in the industry. From being a teenager star, she became one of the prominent actresses in the entertainmet industry. She also became an icon for many younger artists.

However, she never had the chance to work with the National Artist for Film, which was one of her dreams.

Sharon Cuneta was one of the celebrities who attended Nora Aunor‘s wake. The Megastar was joined by her husband senatorial candidate Kiko Pangilinan. In an interview with ABS-CBN, Sharon expressed regret no having the chance to work with the Superstar.

“I think it’s everyone’s dream na makasama ang ‘the greats’ and she’s certainly one of those. It’s an end of a golden era in the industry,” the Megastar said.

Sharon added that Nora was the only one in the industry. “Kasi nag-iisa lang talaga si Ate Guy. The original and one and only superstar. Lahat kami, gusto namin maging katulad niya,” she said.

For Sharon, it’s a big loss in the industry now that Nora is gone. She also highlighted the inspiring life story of the Superstar who was once just a vendor of bottled water and then, she became one of the most celebrated stars in Philippine showbiz.

Sharon Cuneta also said that she was happy that the Superstar became a national artist while she was still alive to enjoy the honor because she deserves it.

Prior to this, Sharon shared a tribute post for the late actress. She thanked Nora for sharing her life and her immense talents. the Megastar also expressed condolences to Nora’s family, friends, and fans.
