“ALWAYS be respectful.” That was the advice Superstar Nora Aunor always gave her children when she was still alive.

According to Ate Guy’s eldest son Lotlot de Leon, their mother left many pieces of advice and instructions to her siblings that really left an impression on them.

“No matter who you talk to, be respectful. Just like her. Her status in life doesn’t matter, everyone is equal to her.

“Whether you’re rich or you have money in life or you don’t have money, everyone is given the same respect,” Lotlot said during a media interview at Ate Guy’s funeral at Heritage Park in Taguig. Lotlot continued, “Mommy, she always gives orders, she always reminds us that she loves us, and we love her the same way.

“She knows that she is just one call away from us, that we are here for her, she knows that.

“She texted me last time, she said, ‘Don’t leave the kids, focus on the kids,’” he said.

Meanwhile, Matet de Leon is heartbroken for her sister Lotlot because of the consecutive deaths of her mother-in-law Pilita Corrales and their mother Nora Aunor.

Matet said of Lotlot, “My sister’s energy has been wasted.”

Lotlot said, “To my siblings, especially because of my love for Mommy, so that we can convey that this is so beautiful and well-organized for her.

“It’s the least we can do for her: to give her the best. I can’t do this alone, we help each other as siblings, we all help to make it go smoothly.
