Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared that the late Superstar Nora Aunor had this “pakiusap” to him.

Ogie is one of the many showbiz personalities who showed love to the Superstar and sympathy to her family after she passed away. It was indeed a devastating moment in showbiz losing the award-winning actress, especially that not long ago, Asia’s Queen of Song Pilita Corrales passed away.

After Nora’s death, OPM icon Hajji Alejandro also passed away. In a matter of a week, three celebrities bid goodbye.

In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube showbiz talk of Ogie Diaz, he shared that last November, he had a conversation with Nora Aunor.

He said that the Superstar had a request to him involving her close friend John Rendez. “Ang bilin nga sa akin ni Ate Guy noong November ay ‘tulungan mo naman si John Rendez. Mahusay naman siyang umarte,” Ogie shared. For him, this is now his commitment to Ate Guy, Nora’s nickname.

Meanwhile, in a past interview, based on the article in Bandera, John shared that he stayed on Nora’s said during her ups and downs. For him, this is what true friendship should be. “Ako lang ang tumagal. Lahat ng dumating sumuko sila,” John said.

He added that he was being selfless because he did not left whatever Nora’s status was. “Not for any purpose, may pera man o wala. Because ano, e… that’s Ate Guy. Loves ko yan, e, di ba?” he said.

John also stressed that he loves Nora more than he loves other people and their frienship was seen with how they were with each other.

On April 22, Nora Aunor was finally laid to rest and she was honored before she was put to her allotted place at the Libingin ng mga Bayani.
