Walang issues ngayon, no issues at all. We’ve never had an issue naman with Mom. Mom never had an issue with us,” dagdag pa niya.

“So, let’s just pray for her and remember how bright a star she is to everyone.” (AM)

Lotlot de Leon on Her Relationship with Nora Aunor: “Nothing Has Changed in Our Love for Each Other”

Manila, Philippines – Actress Lotlot de Leon has broken her silence about her relationship with her adoptive mother, the iconic Superstar Nora Aunor, amid long-standing rumors and public curiosity. In a recent interview, Lotlot shared that despite past misunderstandings and time spent apart, the bond she shares with her “Mama Guy” remains deeply rooted in love and respect.

Unshaken by Time and Trials

“There may have been bumps along the way, but nothing has changed in our love for each other,” Lotlot said with emotion during a heartfelt moment. Her words echo the sentiments of many fans who have followed the unique and sometimes complex relationship between the veteran singer-actress Nora Aunor and her adopted daughter, Lotlot.

Over the years, both have pursued their own paths in the entertainment world, with Lotlot carving out a career in acting and motherhood, while Nora remained one of the most revered and awarded figures in Philippine showbiz. Despite physical distance and public speculations about rifts, Lotlot insists that the emotional connection with her mother has never been severed.

“She’s my mother in every way that matters,” Lotlot stated. “No matter what happens, she will always be that.”

A Deep Bond Beyond Blood

Lotlot was adopted by Nora Aunor and actor Christopher de Leon during her early childhood. While not related by blood, Lotlot has always referred to Aunor as her true mother — a sentiment she continues to hold dearly. Their relationship has withstood public scrutiny, personal challenges, and the changing dynamics of time and fame.

“There’s no need to explain everything to the public,” Lotlot added. “What’s important is what we know in our hearts.”

In recent years, the two have been seen together at occasional family gatherings and celebrations, though not frequently in public. Fans have expressed joy whenever the two are spotted together, often sharing photos and videos with messages of hope for a continued reconciliation and closeness.

An Example of Unconditional Love

For many of their fans, Lotlot and Nora’s relationship symbolizes unconditional love — one that isn’t bound by bloodlines, but by the shared experiences, sacrifices, and emotional ties that form a real family.

Lotlot also used the opportunity to thank fans for their unwavering support through the years. “We feel the love — always. And I want everyone to know that Mama Guy and I are okay. We always were. We always will be.”

Looking Ahead

As both actresses continue with their respective careers — Nora recently celebrated another milestone in her legacy, while Lotlot remains active in television and independent film — it is clear that their personal story still captures the hearts of many Filipinos.

In an era of broken family ties and public fallouts, Lotlot and Nora’s story is one of healing, understanding, and enduring love.

“Family is never perfect,” Lotlot concluded, “but the love that binds us doesn’t need to be explained. It just is.”
