Nora Aunor De@th: PBBM Shares Message For The National Artist

PBBM shares this message for the passing of Nora Aunor

The death of Superstar Nora Aunor was confirmed on Wednesday night, April 16, by her son Ian de Leon, and as a National Artist for Film, here’s the message from President Bongbong Marcos.

Nora is one of the legends in the Philippine entertainment industry. The doors of show business opened for her after joining the Tawag ng Tanghalan singing contest back in the 1960s.

From that, as they say, “the rest is history.” Throughout her career, she has done tons of movies and television shows, and during the prime of her singing career, she also released songs and did concerts here in the Philippines and abroad.

The entertainment industry is in great sadness after her death was confirmed. Celebrities and fans expressed their messages for the Superstar online. Some netizens also expressed sympathy for actress Janine Gutierrez, one of Nora Aunor’s granddaughters. Just a few days ago, Janine lost her other grandmother, Asia’s Queen of Song Pilita Corrales.

In 2022, Nora was proclaimed a National Artist for Film. A day after her death was confirmed, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. released a message of condolence.
