On the last day of Superstar Nora Aunor’s funeral at Heritage Park, King of Talk Boy Abunda interviewed the children of acclaimed actresses Ian, Lotlot, Matet, Kiko, and Kenneth de Leon for Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Monday, April 21.

Ian shared his last conversation with his mother before she passed away. According to the actor, he spoke to his mother only by text because she was in the hospital. They talked about being a mother to their siblings, and a grandmother to their grandchildren.

Their conversation began when Nora sent a quote about a mother’s relationship with her children and grandchildren.

“Lord, wherever my children go, please, hold them, protect them from all dangers and always bring them home safely,” the actor read in his mother’s message.

The National Artist also allegedly greeted his grandchildren, and asked the actor to hug and kiss them. Nora also apologized to her son for not being with them at the time.

The famous host asked the brothers what they wanted to thank and they apologized to Nora. Starting with the youngest Kenneth, he said he was grateful that they were the children of the famous actress, because he said that Ian, Lotlot, Matet, and Kiko would not be brothers.

“If you want to apologize, maybe it’s because in the last few hours, we didn’t have it. We could have sat there, hugged him, talked to him, said what he wanted to say. “We just have to accept it,” Kenneth continued.

Kiko also thanked them for coming into Nora’s life, and being a part of her life. He said that if it hadn’t been for his mother, he didn’t know what would have happened to the four of them.

“Thank you very much. Mom, wherever you are right now, we love you so much, thank you. Thank you all. And I wish we had been married for a long time, it would have been too fast, we would have talked a lot more,” Kiko said.

Matet sent a message to his mom, “Thank you mommy because you make us feel even in her own way, she made all of us, each one of us, and our children, feel how much she loves us. Thank you so much, we feel the love of Nora Aunor.”

Matet also apologized for not visiting Nora because he said he wanted to be with them during the times when they thought their mom was busy and needed a break.

Lotlot and Ian admitted that they had said everything they wanted to say to Nora and their eldest son just thanked the Superstar for all the kindness and love he had shown them.

“Who would have thought that the four of us would be a family?” Who would have thought that a little girl who just sold water on the railroad tracks would become a popular superstar that everyone would fall in love with? So this was all designed by the heavens above and I’m just grateful to be a part of it,” Lotlot said.

Ian recounted the lesson he had learned from his mother.

“The only lesson, aside from everything that has happened, be it good or bad, is always whatever happened in the past, kahit masakit, sobrang sakit, pinakamasakit, sobrang saya, lahat ‘yun, all those were lessons for us to take. And we’ll have to learn to leave the emotional baggage aside and leave it in the past,” sabi ng aktor.
