To recall, on the evening of April 16, Ian De Leon confirmed the death of the superstar. She was 71, and her death has left the entertainment industry saddened.

In the message Lotlot wrote to her mother, she shared the silent conversation she still has, even with her absence. She still talks to her every day because she knows she’s listening. With every word, there’s love, longing, and a sense of spiritual connection.

She had already told her mother everything when she was still alive, and now, what she held on to tightly was to obey her mother’s final wish, which was to look after her siblings and grandchildren.

“Ma, maraming nagmamahal sayo. Sobra! Sana nakikita nyo po yun. They all showed up for you and our family and kame na mga anak mo sobrang grateful po,” she wrote.

The actress also mentioned her siblings Ian, Matet, Kiko, and Ken, and asked their mother to look after them as well. They have become more united, and it is the unity they now hold even more dearly in light of their mother’s passing.
