Dingdong Dantes: “Maraming salamat, Ate Guy… Rest in power.”

Bumuhos ang pakikiramay sa mga naulila ng nag-iisang Superstar at National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts na si Nora Aunor.

Apat na artistang nakatrabaho ng Superstar ay nagkuwento sa Instagram ng kani-kanilang alaala—lahat ay pumupuri sa kanyang husay at ugali.

Binawian ng buhay si Nora habang nakaratay sa The Medical City, Pasig, nitong nakaraang April 16, 2025.

Siya ay 71 years old.

DINGDONG DANTES ON NORA AUNOR

Nakasama ni Dingdong Dantes si Nora sa GMA series na Pari ‘Koy taong 2015.

Hindi raw inasahan ni Dingdong noon na si Nora pala ang sinasabi ng production staff na special guest sa taping.

“August 2015. It was a long shooting day—mostly drama. My scene with her was scheduled toward the end, past midnight, in front of Father Kokoy’s church.

“Rain machines on full blast, everyone focused. The kind of setup that demands your best. All under the direction of the great, late Direk Maryo J.”

Noong panahong iyon, kabadung-kabado raw si Dingdong dahil first time niyang makasama ang Superstar.

Pero lalo raw siyang napahanga ni Nora pagsapit ng maiksing break.

Dagdag niya: “I was nervous. It’s not every day you get to share the screen with the Superstar.

“During a short break between takes, two monoblock chairs were brought out. I thought she’d head back to her tent. But she didn’t. She sat beside me and stayed.

“No fanfare. No walls. Just two people talking—about nothing in particular, and maybe everything that mattered in that moment.

“She didn’t make me feel like I had to prove anything. She made sure I was okay.

“She was generous with her presence—not just in the scene, but in that in-between space where actors wait and breathe.

“It’s that kind of grace that stays with you.

“The kind that reminds you why people like her are legends—not just because of the work, but because of how they carry the weight of it with humility.”

Noon nakita ni Dingdong na very down-to-earth ang Superstar.

“For me, it wasn’t just about the scene. It was about that ten-minute ‘standby actors’ moment with Ate Guy on a chilly August night in 2015.

LOVIE POE ON NORA AUNOR

Nakasama naman ni Lovi Poe si Nora sa award-winning film na Thy Womb (2012).

Nagmarka raw sa kanya ang pagiging mapagkumbaba at mabait ng Superstar.

Saad niya (published as is): “Today, we mourn the loss of a true legend. It was one of the greatest highlights of my career to have had the rare honor of working with the Superstar of the Philippines, Ms. Nora Aunor in our film ‘Thy Womb.’

Marami pang magagandang sinabi si Lovi about Nora bilang katrabaho at bilang idolo.

Sa pagpapatuloy niya: “She worked with quiet strength, always professional, always prepared, and yet she had this loving, nurturing presence on set that made everyone feel seen and respected.”

“Ms. Nora was a guiding light in our industry — an example of how greatness can exist with humility. Her legacy will live on in our hearts, in the stories she told, and in the many lives she touched.

CHYNNA ORTALEZA ON NORA AUNOR

Nakasama naman ni Chynna Ortaleza ang Superstar sa Cinemalaya entry na Dementia (2014).

May maikli siyang anecdote tungkol sa naging preparasyon nila para sa eksena.

Chynna: “Nay paano ka nagbabasa ng script?”

Nora: “Hindi ko binabasa. Kuwentuhan mo lang ako. Magkuwentuhan lang tayo sa eksena mamaya. Huwag ka matakot.”

Sabi pa ni Chynna sa kanyang post (published as is): “Salamat sa Diyos sa iyong buhay at ang natatangi mong talento!

“Isang karangalan na nagkaroon kami ng pagkakataon na makita ang iyong mga mata at maramdaman ang pagaalaga mo. Pakikiramay sa lahat ng nagmamahal sa nag iisang Superstar.”

ROCCO NACINO ON NORA AUNOR

Sa Cinemalaya rin nakasama ni Rocco Nacino ang Supertar sa pelikulang Hustisya (2014).

Ang maiksing mensahe niya (published as is): “The very few times I got to work with ate guy.

“Naintindihan ko kung bakit hangang hanga ang mga tao sa kanya noong nakatrabaho ko siya.

“You will always be remembered ate guy in the movie industry. Rest in peace.”

NORA AUNOR WAKE SCHEDULE AND INTERMENT

Narito naman ang schedule ng burol at libing ni Nora, ayon sa ulat ng PEP Troika.

Nakalagak na ang mga labi niya sa Chapel 9 ng The Heritage Memorial Park sa Taguig City.

Kagabi, April 17, ginanap ang viewing at misa para lamang sa pamilya.

Sa April 18, Biyernes, bukas ang chapel para sa pamilya at mga kaibigan.

Sa April 19, Sabado, itinakda ang public viewing mula 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.; at sa April 20, Linggo, parehong oras ulit ang public viewing.

Sa April 21, Lunes, pamilya at mga kaibigan ang maaaring dumalaw.

Sa April 22, Martes, ang interment ay sa Libingan Ng Mga Bayani. To follow ang detalye para sa kanyang state funeral.
