Kris Aquino revealed her “pain and struggle” amid suffering from lupus flare fever for over two weeks now, appealing to the public for continued prayers.

Kris has been diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), among several other autoimmune diseases. Lupus symptoms, according to Cleveland Clinic, “usually come and go in waves called flare-ups” and one of the most common symptoms is fever.

The Queen of All Media shared a compilation of her recent photos and videos through her Instagram page on Tuesday, April 1, showing her thin body and her struggle to move without assistance. She also disclosed that her body weight has dropped to 37.3 kg.

“Very visible is my spine because there’s no fat. The area my hand is where many bone protrusions are,” she said in the video.

“This is MY NOW. I wanted you to see the pain and struggle so that you will continue to pray,” she added in the caption. “I have a Lupus Flare fever now. It’s been more than [two] weeks.”

In the video, Kris can be seen getting help from her medical staff and her son Bimby. Also featured in the clip is a photo of her lying in bed while holding hands with a certain someone who was wearing a face mask.

Aside from SLE, Kris has been diagnosed with Autoimmune Thyroiditis, Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria, EGPA, Systemic Sclerosis, and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
